Cheesy Sausage Broccoli Skillet only takes 15 minutes and has four simple steps.

Fry the sausage. It brings out the flavor of rice.
Instant rice is usually very boring, but roasting it with sausage adds an earthy, nutty flavor. Cooking with chicken stock instead of water will enhance the flavor even more.
Frozen jarred broccoli and roasted red peppers are two ingredients I always have on hand, but you can also substitute, omit, or add some other delicious vegetables. Read this article and discover some of my great ideas.
The extra water from the rice and vegetables helps make the cheese sauce that coats the rice. We recommend using freshly grated cheese. You can save time by slicing the flour in advance, but it may not mix well with the flour and may end up in granular form.

In my house, this pot feeds four people, and we’re hungry, hungry hippos. If you are a small eater, 6 servings is enough.

If you want more, you can always double the amount of sausage or rice by simply adding 1 cup of instant rice and 1 cup of chicken broth. But that means you might want to add a little more cheese.
