Ingredients:
For the Filling:
- 3 cups peeled and diced apples (approximately 3 apples)
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons flour
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Other Ingredients:
- 12 Egg Roll Wrappers
- Oil for Frying
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine all filling ingredients thoroughly.
- Place about 2 heaping tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll the wrapper tightly. Seal the tip of the wrapper with a small amount of water.
- Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry each egg roll for approximately 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Once fried, sprinkle the egg rolls with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes:
- Ensure that the sides of the wrapper are securely tucked in to prevent ingredients from leaking, which could cause splattering during frying.
