APPLE PIE EGG ROLLS Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 3 cups peeled and diced apples (approximately 3 apples)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Other Ingredients:

  • 12 Egg Roll Wrappers
  • Oil for Frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine all filling ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Place about 2 heaping tablespoons of the filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll the wrapper tightly. Seal the tip of the wrapper with a small amount of water.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F (175°C). Fry each egg roll for approximately 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Once fried, sprinkle the egg rolls with powdered sugar and serve warm.

Notes:

  • Ensure that the sides of the wrapper are securely tucked in to prevent ingredients from leaking, which could cause splattering during frying.
  • Nutrition information does not include cooking oil.
