There’s nothing like the sweet, comforting smell of freshly baked cinnamon buns pervading your home on a cozy weekend morning. The aroma alone can put a smile on anyone’s face, but the taste is even more delicious. Warm, fluffy, and spiced with just the right amount of cinnamon, cinnamon bread is a classic treat enjoyed for generations.
When I was a child, my grandmother always baked cinnamon buns when she came to visit. We both spent hours in the kitchen measuring and mixing, our fingers glued to the dough and sugar. Some of my fondest memories are of us sitting at the table, warm cinnamon buns in hand, drinking tea and talking about life. Now that she is no longer with us, I make this recipe in her honor and remember the sweet moments we shared.

- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons extra pure vanilla
Topping:
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons unsalted butter, melted

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Once baked, remove the cinnamon bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
Slice the cinnamon buns and serve as desired. You can enjoy it as is or grilled with butter.
