Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza dough
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (or any other ground meat of your choice)
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup grated Mexican cheese blend
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Sour cream and salsa (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the package of your pre-made pizza dough.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, ensuring it is fully cooked. Remove any excess fat from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, add water and taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef. Stir well and let the mixture boil for a few minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
- Spread the pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone, following package directions. Spread the taco meat evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a thin border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded Mexican cheese evenly over the taco meat.
- Arrange the sliced tomatoes, diced red onions, and sliced black olives on top of the cheese layer.
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the directions on the pizza crust package.
- Once the pizza is cooked to your desired level of doneness, remove it from the oven and sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro over the top.
- Allow the taco pizza to cool for a few minutes before cutting it into wedges or squares. Optionally, top with sour cream and serve with salsa on the side.
- Enjoy this delicious fusion of taco and pizza flavors!
